Description
GENESIS Trespass LP (6 tracks).
Original RARE gate-fold textured paper sleeve album (with original lyrics sheet insert).
Released in 1970, on the CHARISMA (Pink Scroll) record label, catalogue number CAS 1020.
Matrix numbers read: A-side CAS 1020 A – 2U & B-side CAS 1020 B – 2U
The record sleeve is the original gate-fold, made from thick heavy duty cardboard, and with a fully textured surface.
The record sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition, clean solid and complete. There are no rips, no tears, no major edge wear, thick flat spine with full visible spine print and no deep sleeve creases.
The sleeve displays a tiny seem split (approx 5 mms), on the top front, left hand side top corner spine edge. The middle fold-out sleeve has a light raised section on the right hand side of the spine (a possible result of the sleeve’s design).
The album comes complete with the original light blue printed insert lyrics sheet. The condition is VERY GOOD+, there is a centre fold crease down the middle, a small edge tear on the right hand side, near the top corner and some slight/light minimal surface creases.
The record labels are in NEAR MINT condition, with full original label print and no label damage. There are some light visible spindle hole marks, showing light to moderately played.
Record playing surfaces are NEAR EXCELLENT / EXCELLENT in appearance, and still retain their full original glossy sheen.
There are only a few surface marks on the album, with three ultra light surface scuffmarks on the A-side and one barely visible ultra light surface scuffmark on the B-side.
There is the occasional very low level background passing crackle/click in only a few places when played, however these are all minimal and only appears infrequently, and are not consistent throughout.
Record play grades EXCELLENT+ record sound displays no loud crackles, no loud clicks, and does not jump.
