WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! ULTRA RARE and HARD-TO-FIND original Stereo WWA Records very first press released in Chile in 1975 by VERTIGO Records, made and distributed by Philips Records, with catalog number 6366 100 WITH GREEN SWIRL VERTIGO LABELS!!! Yes Sirs, Swirl Vertigo labels!!! Hand etched matrix numbers are 6366-100-A EB-CD in Side A and 6366-100-B EB-CD in Side B. Yes, yes, yes, WHAT A FIND!!! Another extremely rare Chilean press of a great album!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!! It’s more than interesting to notice that in the deadwax of the record in both sides it’s written the date of pressing “21-III-75” (March 21 of 1975). WOW!!! And what a GREAT CONDITION!!!

GENTLE GIANT’s “IN A GLASS HOUSE” was originally released on WWA Records in 1973 and in Chile this record was released in 1975, licensed from Vertigo Records Germany, but in Chile this record was released with Swirl Vertigo labels, the only country in the world which released this record with Swirl Vertigo labels!!! And not only you can observe the UNIQUE SWIRL VERTIGO LABELS, you can also see it’s an UNIQUE GREEN SWIRL VERTIGO LABELS!!! And like usual those years here in Chile the cover in Chile is UNIQUE, made of a very thin cardboard or thick paper folded in the middle, faking a gatefold cover, so 3 sides are open and kept together for an outer plastic bag. Front and back cover keep the original artwork of the German release, with title of the album and credits written in English only, with the WWA Records logo in the bottom of the back cover and in the upper right corner is the Swirl Vertigo logo and it’s also interesting to notice that the word “Vertigo” and catalog number 6366 100 D (with “D” boxed) because I've seen a copy with the swirl logo only (catalog number and word factory deleted, maybe for some print error). About this release and level of rarity (R3), if you know Vertigo releases you know what a "R3" means and I'd say it's even rarer than "R3" because the number of copies released in Chile was only about 300-500 and it’s almost impossible to find one in good condition. Don’t forget, GENTLE GIANT’s “In a glass house” was released with Swirl Vertigo labels only in Chile!!! This record is extremely rare!!! UNIQUE PRESS WORLWIDE WITH GREEN SWIRL VERTIGO LABELS!!! It’s also interesting to notice that in back cover the sides are identified as “Side 1” and “Side 2” (in English) but in label it’s “Lado 1” and “Lado 2” (in Spanish) and the side 1 has the traditional “Side A” written in the fourth strip, second green strip!!! And it’s also interesting to observe a misprint error in the Side 2, it’s written “LICECSED BY WWA RECORDS”, of course the correct word is “LICENSED” as written in back cover!!! WOW!!! A must for progressive rock and VERTIGO collectors!!!

The cover is in superb EX or EX+ condition, clean, no rips, no writings, no blemishes, only some wear, more evident in the mouth edge and creases, which are normal for this kind of covers. The record, however, is in superb EX or EX+ condition, glossy, clean and with only some very light scuffs more evident in the Side B, which of course don’t affect sound at all. Labels on both sides are in NM or NM+ condition, clear and clean, with only minimal spindle hole wear. The sound is the best part, it’s in amazing strong and superb EX+ or NM- condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), only minimal very occasional crackles here and there, more evident in the silent parts, which don’t cause any distraction from the great sound this LP keeps from the beginning to the end, most of the LP plays in absolute NM condition. Overall, a so rare record like this, it has to be A MUST FOR Vertigo Records collectors and this time you have the chance to own this MEGARARE PRESS!!! ALMOST NEVER SEEN!!! And after already 38 years and some careful plays this copy still retains a great look and an absolute decent and respectable sound quality which won’t disappoint anyone, LOUD, CLEAR, NO DISTORTIONS, NO CLICKS, NO SKIPS, NO STICKS. We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

We have an unique value worldwide: 

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending of thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP7 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first.
