Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare 1st German pressing of Gentle Giant – Octopus on the SWIRL VERTIGO label, cat. no. 6360 080.
The record is in EX minus condition, there is a very small light sounding line on side one that begins at the end of track 3 and goes into the first 20-30 seconds of track 4. Besides this small defects, there are only a few non-sounding hairlines. The labels are in EX+ condition, there are no spindle marks.
The cover is EX minus condition, there is a very tiny sticker tear mark on the front and just very slight wear on the opening edge, but further this cover is in brilliant shape; no writing or other damage.
Although this is a German pressing, these Swirl pressings of Gentle Giant albums are becoming very scarce nowadays. The prices for a U.K. pressing are still going up and even the German pressings are becoming very high in price. This is your chance to get an affordable 1st pressing of a Swirl Vertigo record, a real must have for all Gentle Giant fans, progressive music fans or Swirl Vertigo collectors!

Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 15.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
