Vinyl is in excellent condition for its age but while side A looks NM, side B has a scratch across first half of the tracks and there is some crackle in the quiet moments plus one louder pop near beginning of first song. This not a perfect out of the seal copy but for the rarity of this record, it's in great shape. Side B has some low level crackle til midway through but side A sounds clear. This is a pretty solid collectable 1st press.
This GENTLE GIANT vinyl record is a must-have for any progressive and psychedelic rock enthusiast. The 12" LP, released in 1972, features full-range fidelity and stereo audio channels. The black vinyl material is in excellent (EX) condition and comes in a collector's edition cardboard sleeve.
The record includes experimental and fusion tracks, with instrumental performances on guitar, keyboard, violin, percussion, bass guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, cello, saxophone, voice, drums, trumpet, and organ. The album was produced by Tony Visconti and composed by Shulma, Shulman, Shulman, and Minnear. This first pressing is a rare find for fans of electro/synth, experimental, and vocal rock.
