Description
This must be the best example of Three Friends by Gentle Giant that has ever been offered for sale. It's an original first pressing on the revered Verigo label. This is indicated by the absence of 'Made in Britain' on the label. Second pressings introduced this type. The vinyl and gatefold are as near mint as you can possibly get. This record has possibly never been played. There isn't a mark on the vinyl or a crease on the cover.
It plays superbly through my Rega Plana 3 record deck.
The only issue is the age related yellow spotting on the inner polythene sleeve. This is the original Veritgo sleeve and again it is in excellent condition bar the spotting. The spine is in amazing A1 condition as well.
Released in 1972. Catalogue 6360 070. Please note I am also selling the first Gentle Giant LP on this site as well.
Mother stamper codes are 114 and 112 indicating a very early first pressing.
