Hello there Vertigo fans!!,
Hello there all! My name is Tyler, and I am huge Vertigo fan (fanatic)/collector, and have collected over many, many years my lot of over 50 or so of the Genuine UK Original First Press Vertigos! You may remember me months back on ebay (Check my feedback) selling my non-UK Vertigos/collectibles, and during that time, I stated in so many words, that I would never part with my UK Vertigos, as I cherish them so, and because they are the most collectable! Well, it's time I guess to go against my word, and start selling them off (Due to space constraints, etc.), so keep checking back often to see what UK Vertigos I'm putting up (All of them Genuine UK First Presses)! Sleeve - This gatefold, and un-laminated sleeve is in M condition. I guess, to be very overly critical, there is a small amount of fraying to the bottom of the sleeve, but this can be mostly attributed to shelf wear, so it's very solid. The inner sleeve is lovely, and is clean, with no writing, glue residue, etc., to it. A solid M sleeve, and quite lovely considering its age!
Labels/Spine/Inner - Both sides labels are clean, and in EX+ condition, and the matrix numbers accompanying the labels are machine stamped (As is the case with all UK First Presses). The spine is in M condition, and is fully readable! The matrix numbers (Father, mother, child) stamped on the album are the very desireable 1 1 1, which signifies a true first press! A swirl inner sleeve is included, and comes in EX+.
Vinyl - The vinyl comes in M- condition, has no marks or scratches on it, and still has its beautiful, black shine! A lovely, lovely album! I recently listened to the LP, and there are no jumps, skips, or crackles when playing the LP, so this LP is very nice, and is a real keeper for all you Vertigo collectors out there!
Don't miss out on acquiring this very rare LP! Even though it's not quite as groundbreaking as the prior two Giant albums are, it's still a very strong album from the Shulmans and Co. (In my humble opinion!), and is very tough to come by in this top condition these days!
