G.Stoner is a singer/songwriter who (with the help of some excellent musicians) gives most of his tracks a soul/funk/r&b-treatment,sometimes with a little psych-edge.The funky “Check Out Your Mind” (with wah-wah guitars and an incredible flute-solo) has been comped on the “Psychedelic Shack Vol.2”,the killer ”Bend Your Head Low” is slower mellow track with tasty  rhodes backing,an awesome overblown flute-solo and incredible soulful vocals,reminding of some tracks Terry Callier did.Hard-to-find in Europe!

Condition:the record looks mint-/mint--,it plays in mint-/mint-- all the time except for a little low surfacenoise only in the dead wax between just a few tracks.The thick cardoard-cover has a cut-out hole in the lower right,the upper seam and the spine are intact with some rub/burst,the lower seam is open for ca. 2/3(but the cover is nevertheless still pretty tight together),there’s ring- & cornerwear plus some general wear,overall vg.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
