GEORGE "HARMONICA" SMITH & ROD PIAZZA " BOOGIE'N WITH GEORGE" stereo lp on Murray Brothers 1001 US issue 1982 VG+/VG.  

I would grade this lp VG+. It plays great, but has some minimal noise that was not there when the record was new. It may also have visual marks, consistent with a well cared for, but appreciated, record that’s had a moderate amount of play. This LP still plays great and has lots of shine and is beautiful overall. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM  RESULTS RECLEAN EACH SIDE  AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE.). I'm not overly fond of this label. It's one of those labels that the lp comes out of the shrink wrap a VG+ listening experience. But it is the only game in town for this material and a VG+ listening experience is plenty good. Once again Smith avails himself of what was at the time Piazza's current band. They are great in support and Piazza joins Smith for one off the cuff romp. This may have been Smith's last recording. He even plays a tribute to his chromatic idol Larry Adler (Peg O' My Heart)

The Jacket: In blue ink, my initials back upper left, an x back lower left. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover VG overall with light ring, seam and corner wear. Still very nice.  (I will only be citing things not visible in pictures).
