Triple LP!
This auction is for a very good copy of All Things Must Pass (Apple, Stereo, STCH639), George Harrison’s first solo album. The fact it is a triple album underlines how much material George had stored up in the last years of The Beatles, when he was competing with band mates, Lennon & McCartney. The album was released in November 1970. It includes the hit singles “My Sweet Lord” and “What Is Life”. The album reflects the influence of his musical activities outside the Beatles during 1968–70, and introduced Harrison's signature sound, the slide guitar, and the spiritual themes that would be present throughout his subsequent solo work. This is the original vinyl release, which consists of two LPs of songs and a third disc of informal jams, titled Apple Jam. The cover has some ring wear and staining at the back. There is some splitting along the spine. The inner gatefold is excellent. The vinyl is very good to excellent. Check out the pictures – they form part of the description.
