George Harrison - 'Wonderwall Music'. SAPCOR 1
George Harrison 1968 UK 1st EXPORT pressing of the 'Wonderwall Music' album. Released on the 1st November 1968, and offered here FULLY COMPLETE and with STUNNING EXCELLENT+/MINT- vinyl. The condition here cannot be overstated, simple magnificent. Even the ‘White Album’ style inner black die cut inner is EXCELLENT+. One of the best examples you are likely to find.
'Wonderwall Music' is an experimental soundtrack to the 1968 film 'Wonderwall'. It was the very first solo album by any Beatle and the first album to released on the newly formed Apple Records label (it was also the first to be deleted). The album failed to chart here in the UK and is easily one of the very rarest Apple albums to obtain.
Released on the dark Apple Records label both sides state the 'Sold in UK....' text. The vinyl is housed within the original black die cut inner sleeve and also comes complete with the rare APPLE INSERT. This features recording details of the album on one side and and the Apple logo to the other. All housed within the original fully laminated cover which features a gold import sticker stating ‘IMPORTATION SDI PATHE MARCONI’. This was imported into France by Pathe Marconi. Probably prior to any French issue being produced. The only one of these I have ever seen.
Within the run out area of the vinyl can be seen the original designated catalog number crossed out STAP 1A-1 & STAP 1B-2. This was changed after production began to SAPCOR 1 full details of the matrix are below.

Side 2. SAPCORE 1B-2 1 R
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition on side one and MINT- condition on side two.
Both labels are in MINT- condition. STUNNING.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. STUNNING.
The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. THE BEST ‘White Album’ style inner I have ever seen. I will also include an additional inner sleeve for protection.
The insert is in EXCELLENT+ condition.
