George Harrison - ‘Ding Dong / I Don’t Care Anymore’. R 6002
George Harrison 1974 UK 1st pressing of the 'Ding Dong / I Don’t Care Anymore’ 7” single. Released on the 6th December 1974, and offered here in great EXCELLENT condition.
The vinyl comes housed within the incredibly rare UK Apple ‘cloud sleeve’. Only a tiny quantity of 1st pressings came housed with these sleeves. They were withdrawn almost immediately upon release in favor of a generic sleeve. I guess this was down to cost? Very, very few of these have ever surfaced and it’s rarity cannot be overstated. I can say with confidence that in my opinion this is the very rarest of all Apple sleeves (yes rarer than any picture sleeve and yes rarer than the ‘My Love’ red UK Apple sleeve). Take a look at the matrix numbers below, very strange.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1: 7YCE 21757-1U 3 M
Side 2: 7YCE 21756-2U 3 GP 12 * X-48946-Z6
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.
Both labels are in VERY GOOD+ condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
