George Harrison - ‘Ding Dong / I Don’t Care Anymore’. R 6002

George Harrison 1974 UK 1st pressing of the 'Ding Dong / I Don’t Care Anymore’ 7” single. Released on the 6th December 1974, and offered here in STUNNING MINT-/EXCELLENT+ condition.

The vinyl comes housed within the incredibly rare UK Apple ‘cloud sleeve’. Only a tiny quantity of 1st pressings came housed with these sleeves. They were withdrawn almost immediately upon release in favor of a generic sleeve. I guess this was down to cost? Very, very few of these have ever surfaced and it’s rarity cannot be overstated. I have been collecting for decades and this is the only one I have ever had. I can say with confidence that in my opinion this is the very rarest of all Apple sleeves (yes rarer than any picture sleeve and yes rarer than the ‘My Love’ red UK Apple sleeve). Take a look at the matrix numbers below, very strange.

The matrix numbers are:

Side 1: 7YCE 21757-1U 2 MR

Side 2: 7YCE 21756-2U 2 MP 12 * X-48946-25

The vinyl is in MINT- condition on side one and EXCELLENT+ condition on side two.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD++ condition. NO seam splits. ‘MAG 23’ written neatly on the back inside the sleeve. I will include an additional sleeve to protect the original.
