George Harrison - ‘All Things Must Pass’. STCH 639
George Harrison 1970 UK FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO 1st pressing of the 'All Things Must Pass' triple LP box set. Released on the 30th November 1970, and offered here FULLY COMPLETE with outer box, three EXCELLENT/MINT- vinyls, coloured inners and poster.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
All three vinyls have the very earliest matrix numbers all ending in 1U. Three sides feature Factory Sample stickers. The box is the rarer ‘Made in Great Britain’ issue (some were made in the USA with UK vinyls). The front features a very rare ‘Fresh from Apple’ promo sticker which may have been applied by Apple Records when originally sent out. The inner sleeves are USA issues (exactly as I acquired it). These are probably be the correct set as many of these box sets came with USA made outer boxes and inner sleeves. The poster is a UK issue and hardly used if at all.
A WONDERFUL FULLY COMPLETE package of the finest solo material from any Beatle.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1:YEX 817-1U 3 GAA
Side 2:YEX 818-1U 3 GDT
Side 3:YEX 819-1U 1 GGL
Side 4:YEX 820-1U 2 GGO
Side 5:YEX 821-1U 3 LT
Side 6:YEX 822-1U 2 GDR
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition on side 1, 2, 3 and 4. Sides 5 and 6 are in MINT- condition.
All labels are in EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition.
The outer box is in VERY GOOD+ condition. BUT has had a piece of the side removed (see pictures).
The inner sleeves are in EXCELLENT condition. I will also include additional inner sleeves to protect the originals.
The poster is in EXCELLENT+ condition.
This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £5.50. EU recorded postage is: £13.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £19.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
