This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK PROMO ONLY PRESSING, GEORGE HARRISON DARK HORSE RECORDS / BEATLES RELATED, VARIOUS ARTISTS / SAMPLER album called DARK HORSE RECORDS '76 from 1976, ORIGINAL UK PROMO ONLY PRESSING IN NEAR MINT CONDITION !!!
This is a RARE PROMO ONLY UK PRESSING ALBUM that featured artists signed to GEORGE HARRISON'S label DARK HORSE RECORDS, this album was done as a PROMO ONLY SAMPLER for industry and radio people and was not available to buy in the shops, this copy comes with an AMAZING CONDITION PICTURE SLEEVE, UNSPLIT INNER and a NEAR MINT VINYL and still has the DARK HORSE - NOT FOR SALE PROMO STICKER on the cover which is so often missing from copies sold, and the whole thing comes in a PLAYED ONCE NEAR MINT CONDITION !!!
The ALBUM was pressed by DARK HORSE RECORDS catalogue number DH 1.
The matrices are: SIDE 1: DH SAM-1-A1 and A and 2 on the 9 and 3 o'clock positions (ALL MACHINE STAMPED), SIDE 2: DH SAM-1-B1 and A and 1 on the 9 and 3 o'clock positions (ALL MACHINE STAMPED).
The bands and artists featured are: STAIRSTEPS / HENRY McCULLOUGH / RAVI SHANKAR / ATTITUDES / JIVA / SPLINTER.
The condition of the VINYL is in EX++++++/ NEAR MINT condition (one side played once, other side not played !!!), PICTURE SLEEVE WITH ORIGINAL DARK HORSE PROMO STICKER STILL ON IT is in EX+++/EX++++ condition (FULLY READABLE SPINE, like new apart from a small section on the back bottom left corner where the album obviously got stuck at one point to another album), PRINTED INNER SLEEVE is in great EX/EX+ condition (NO SPLITS OR TEARS !!! only minor age spots) !!!
