Description
This is an original LP by George Harrison called Extra Texture on Apple Records SW-3420 from 1975. This is an absolutely beautiful copy from my personal collection. I bought it new in the late eighties from a reputable used record store. I opened it and played it once to record to cassette. When CDs came out I bought the disc and played it instead. It has only been played the one time. It has a hole punch in the upper right corner. When I bought it, it was listed as a promo hole. It probably is but there isn't anything to verify that. If you'll notice there is a tear in the cover on the back caused by the hole punch. There is also a small bend that is almost unnoticeable coming out from the E in Extra to the spine on the front. Other than those two things, the cover and everything else about it is beautiful. Having only played it once I would have to say it plays at least M-. It also features some of the best musicians of the time: Jim Gordon, Jim Keltner, Carl Radle, Leon Russell, Gary Wright, David Foster, Jim Horn, Paul Stallworth, Jesse Ed Davis, Tom Scott, Klaus Voormann, Chuck Findley, Nicky Hopkins, Andy Newmark, Willie Weeks, Billy Preston and Legs Larry Smith. Includes the hit "You," and also the song "This Guitar (Can't Keep From Crying)," which is one of the very few songs released on an Apple 45 by an ex-Beatle that didn't hit the Top 40.
