Description
Up for auction is an original 1969 VINYL copy of GEORGE HARRISON's second solo album called 'Electronic Sound' released on the new found & short lived ZAPPLE label (cat. no. ZAPPLE 02). This is an original UK first pressing released on May 9th, 1969, that came with a fully laminated record sleeve.
The fully laminated, i.e. back & front panel, RECORD SLEEVE is in EXCELLENT- condition! There are NO seam splits, NO unwanted writing, NO sticker or glue residues. The laminated SLEEVE is in fine condition and only shows a bit of corner wear, a few nicks to the spine and seams. There's one larger crease to the bottom right hand of the front panel.
The printed art INNER SLEEVE is in EXCELLENT- condition with all three seams intact!
Both sides of the RECORD are in EXCELLENT- condition, shiny and mirror-like with only a few fine hairlines, that won't interfere with the "music"!
Both APPLE / ZAPPLE LABELS are in EXCELLENT- condition. Both LABELS display some spider-marks around the spindle-holes. SIDE 2 has a name and date written in blue ballpoint.
I always stick to the 'RECORD COLLECTOR' grading system (please see below).
Thanks for looking & good luck! Please feel free to contact me for further details! Please have a look at my other auctions!
The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff cardboard record box with extra cardboard stiffeners for best possible protection during transport! The experience and fun of buying records on eBay is ruined if you discover that – once the album arrives – they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I try to describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. Please see my excellent feedback especially in terms of packaging! My records are also from a smoke- and pet-free home.
