Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

100% Complete with Black Sugar Paper Inner Sleeve and Apple Insert!
This listing is for an incredibly rare and highly collectible original 1968 stereo 1st press copy of the George Harrison solo LP 'Wonderwall Music'. This copy comes complete with its original black sugar-paper inner sleeve and Apple / liner notes insert!
Wonderwall Music was one of many firsts - it was the first Harrison solo album, it was the first solo album by a Beatle and it was the first album to be released on the Apple label (predating the White Album by a couple of weeks). Recorded as a soundtrack to the film Wonderwall, it's content did not prove popular with buyers and as such it sold miderably. The album failed to reach the UK charts and was very soon out of print.
Today is it exceptionally hard to find the original UK issue of this LP, especially a complete set such as this! Not only that, but this copy is in a phenomenal condition for its age! Check out the description and the photos below!

Title George Harrison - Wonderwall Music Year of Release 1968 Catalogue Number SAPCOR 1 Label Dark Apple with 'Sold in UK' statement Tax Code on Disc - Sleeve Manufacturer - Side 1 Matrix Number STAP 1A-1 SAPCOR 1A-1 Side 2 Matrix Number STAP 1B-2 SAPCOR 1B-2 Side 1 Stampers 1 / O Side 2 Stampers 2 / GG Sleeve Condition The sleeve is in EX+ condition. Overall the sleeve is looking really clean and solid! There's just a little touch of wear in the middle of the top seam (no splitting), and a date has been written in pen at the top of the front cover in faded blue pen. There also seems to be a little light browning along the edge of the mouth and along the top of the front cover and a little down the mouth of the back. As I say though, overall the sleeve is looking excellent with just a few little blemishes. Very nice! Inner Sleeve Condition The inner sleeve is in EX++ condition. The inner sleeve is looking phenomenal! Usually these fragile sugar paper inners end up torn, crases and worn - but this one looks incredible with just a tiny seam split in the middle of one of th sides. The rest is flat, light disc impression and nothing more. Check out the photos. Beautiful condition! Inserts Condition The insert is in EX++ condition. The insert is flat and looks near flawwless with just a little hint of rubbing from the disc on the Apple side, and a couple of tiny little creases here and there. Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in EX+/NM- condition. The disc looks like it's pretty much never been played! The playing surface has a beautiful crisp, clean shine to it and looks near flawless! A few very faint, barely visible little scuffs just nudge overall grade down, but overall the disc is looking beautiful! Label Condition The labels are in NM+/M- condition. Near-flawless labels with just one or two barely visible, spidery little spindlemarks on the side 2 label. Phenomenal labels!
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.
