Machined First UK press matrices the earliest possible issue. (1A-1  ,  1B-2). With corrected crossed out "STAP 1A-1 , STAP 1-B2) NO SAPCOR on the reverse of the sleeve, making this a first issue proper. Later issues had Sapcor printed to the rear. Stampers INCREDIBLE!! 1 G and 1 G!! The very first batch made in the very first week only. Just 600 copies were made with these stampers!! How many would have survived? How many in this EX condition? Most serious Beatles collectors will understand that this is a major collectible not seen very often these days. "KJT"  tax code embossed on side 1.

A true collector item. The first album to come out on Apple!!! I am a serious seller who has specialized in unearthing major collectibles for many years now. A trusted seller with many repeat buyers for the 1965-1973 era of great music. Psych, beat and progressive. I only list proper first presses of important recordings from the fantastic golden age of music. THE RECORD PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY WITH NO LOSS IN SOUND QUALITY OR AURAL PERFORMANCE, AND NO OBTRUSIVE POPS OR CLICKS, JUMPS OR SKIPS. The album looks a virtual NM on first sight!

Vinyl weight: 133g.

Sleeve:  EX.  Front and back laminated. A fantastic sleeve which just two thumb creases near the opening. Super straight edges without any tears or splits. The edges are superb without any wear. Even the opening is still crisp. This album has hardly been handled at all. The spine is 100% legible. All edges are dead straight!! There are no splits. There is NO writing. A truly incredible find.

Vinyl: EX.  Exceptional vinyl, rarely seen in this kind of condition. It will prove to be an upgrade for most collectors. Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen and are practically unmarked and shine like new. There are one or two very light and superficial hairlines from inner sleeve retraction but these have no audio consequence - the record sounds sensational!!
 Outstanding audio delivery in all respects with a crystal clear, deep, rich, warm and detailed sound and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my LPs prior to listing and it's always an immense pleasure to return to this one) there are no scratches, no sticks or jumps, no clicks, just one very shallow hairline on side 2 which cannot be heard and barely any surface noise (really hardly anything worth a mention and to be incredibly picky, maybe just a touch on the run-ins). This is a beautifully clean pressing (and I must emphasise again how difficult it is to find a copy which plays this well). The whole LP sounds absolutely stunning and plays to an extremely high standard with superb clarity, no groove-wear and no distortion and is very strictly graded a strong EX for audio  - great copy!! Of course, NO skips, NO jumps, NO ticks.
