The George Martin Orchestra - 'Ringo's Theme (This Boy) / And I Love Her'. R 5166.

The George Martin Orchestra 1964 UK DEMO pressing of 'Ringo's Theme (This Boy) / And I Love Her' 7" single. Released in July 1964, both these tracks composed by Lennon/McCartney were featured in The Beatles 1964 film 'A Hard Days Night'.

These initial early demonstration pressings would have been given out to important reviewers and radio stations prior to the release date. Both labels state: 'DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT FOR SALE'. The vinyl is housed within the original Parlophone Records sleeve which is in particularly nice condition.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7XCE 177730-1N JR KT (no mother numbers?)

Side 2. 7XCE 177731-1N JR KT (no mother numbers?)

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.

Both labels are in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition. A little grubby on both sides but NO DAMAGE or WRITING.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. A great example of this original sleeve. 'Hard Day's Night' written neatly in top right corner.
