George Martin Orchestra - ‘All Quiet On the Mersey’.
George Martin Orchestra 1965 UK EMIDISC ACETATE demo pressing of the ’All Quiet On the Mersey' track. A very rare one sided UK acetate test pressing of what was to become the single ‘All Quite On the Mersey Front’ released on Parlophone in 1965.
I am not sure if this is the released version or a different early take/mix. The label sites 2.04 as the running time which is slightly shorter than the released single. The song also appears on the album "Ferry Cross The Mersey”. A very rare Beatles related acetate which may in fact be a complete one off.
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD++ condition. Great condition especially for an acetate pressing.
The label is in EXCELLENT+ condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition. Custom sleeve.
