Description
George Michael - Official American Music Industry Award
This is a genuine 1988 RIAA American Music Industry Platinum Award for 1,000,000 sales of ‘Faith’. This award measures 17x21 inches (44x54cms) and is in good condition. The award features the RIAA hologram to indicate its authenticity, and a plaque that includes the following text:

RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) awards are the American equivalent of British BPI awards, and are only presented to artists, producers, record companies and others in the music industry that contributed to the success of a record. This is an official music industry award and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.
A very rare piece of George Michael memorabilia.
