GEORGE RUSSELL AND HIS ORCHESTRA "JAZZ IN THE SPACE AGE" LP - On DECCA Records, DL 9219.  Extremely rare 1958 MONO 12" LP, double sided DEEP GROOVE with the classic bright pink promotional labels.  Thick FLAT EDGE vinyl with matrix number machine stamped in the dead wax of both sides.  All selections composed by George Russell.  The personnel:  Bill Evans, Paul Bley/piano; Dave Young/tenor sax; Hal McKusick, Walt Levinsky/alto sax; Sol Schlinger/baritone sax; Ernie Royal, Al Kiger, "Marky" Markowitz/trumpets; Bob Brookmeyer, Frank Rehak, Dave Baker/trombones; Jimmy Buffington/French horn; Barry Galbraith, Howard Collins/guitar; Milt Hinton/bass; Charlie Persip, Don Lamond/drums.  The vinyl is in phenomenal M/M- condition (beautiful gloss).  Appears unplayed, absolutely stunning!!  The cover is in superb shape:  bright & clean with tight seams, displays wonderfully.  There are NO seam splits, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  Chromatic Universe - Part 1; Dimensions; Chromatic Universe - Part 2; The Lydiot; Waltz From Outer Space; Chromatic Universe - Part 3.
