Description

Smith's best sides for Modern/RPM. Recorded in Kansas City apparently (1955). Not sure of his accompanists but his harp dominates to great effect and sounds superb on 78 in particular. He was a true master of the instrument and had his own distinctive sound -often by using a chromatic harp -differing from other greats such as Little Walter or Walter Horton to name but two.
