Description
This auction includes one (1) box set (7 discs, 14 sides) of Beethoven's Nine Symphonies conducted by the legendary George Szell and The Cleveland Orchestra released on the Columbia MasterWorks label in 1974.
The outer box/sleeve is in very good condition. The vinyl is clean and near mint, very quiet. There are some marks on the label of Sides 1 and 2, but of course, this does not alter the sonic quality of these fantastic discs. The LP was listened to/evaluated using Goldmine standards on a JVC turntable with a Grado MT+ cartridge tracking at 1.5 grams.
This LP is part of an extensive personal collection of opera librettos and LP recordings from the 1950s and later. The items have been kept in climate-controlled spaces over the decades. From a smoke-free home with no musty odors.
Combined shipping on orders of multiple items.
