GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : quattro brani musicalmente ben costruiti dal grande Georges Delerue. Tutti hanno elegante tocco creativo e bella personalità. L'allegro tema d'apertura è caratterizzato dal suono del flauto supportato dall'orchestra. "Surprise party chez Michon" ha un andamento celere e buoni profumi jazz. Un ottimo assolo di tromba, brevi improvvisazioni dell'organo Hammond, sezione ritmica in bella evidenza e un breve assolo di batteria nella parte finale. "Blues chez Michon" ha come protagonista assoluta la Francese Janine de Waleyne, dotatissima cantante jazz e non solo, anche se non accreditata nell'extended play. Canta un blues dal ritmo veloce con un'incredibile aggressività timbrica ben supportata da sonorità percussive. Infine, "Concert" dove la musica barocca del flauto viene raggiunta dalle pulsazioni del basso e dal suono dell'Hammond dando vita così a una simpatica unione tra genere classico e jazzistico. 

Notes : four musically well structured tracks by the great Georges Delerue. All have a refined creative touch and beautiful personality. The blithe opening theme is characterized by the sound of the flute supported by the orchestra. "Surprise party chez Michon" has good groove and pleasant jazz flavors. It features an excellent trumpet solo, some little improvisations by Hammond organ, rhythm section in prominence and a short drum solo at the end. "Blues chez Michon" has as protagonist the French Janine de Waleyne, well-gifted jazz and not only singer, although uncredited in the extended play. She sings a fast paced blues with an incredible tonal aggressiveness well supported by percussive sonorities. Finally, "Concert" where the baroque music of the flute is reached by the bass pulsations and Hammond organ sound thereby creating a nice union between classical and jazzy genres.   

Una divertente commedia nera in un film coprodotto da Francia ed Italia. Regia di Georges Lautner, con Louis de Funès, Michel Serrault, Mireille Darc, Francis Blanche e Venantino Venantini.
