Conditions : the cover in red velvet is a special edition in tribute to the attending-guests on occasion of the world movie premiere on September 10, 1961. Some slight ring wear, NEAR MINT / disc has some scuffs which affect play with some light clicks on the second side. Listening of side one is flawless. EX

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Il compositore di origini Armene alla sua seconda colonna sonora dove si può facilmente sentire preziose ed interessanti anticipazioni su musiche che poco dopo lo renderanno universalmente noto. Grazie anche alla sua splendida collaborazione con Charles Aznavour, pure lui di origini Armene. " Ce N'est Pas Juste Après Tout ", tema d'apertura del film, ha qui e là passaggi musicali che ricordano la celeberrima " Retiens La Nuit " cantata da Johnny Hallyday nel film " Les Parisiennes " del 1962. Così come si avvertono con una certa attenzione altri frammenti sonori che matureranno compiutamente nella colonna sonora per il film " Douce Violence " sempre del 1962. " Paris en Liberté " contiene alcuni passaggi dei titoli d'apertura del simpaticissimo film " Chercez L'Idole " del 1964. Suoni e melodie che soltanto superficialmente possono essere definite o peggio classificate come "easy listening". In realtà la stesura completa di questi temi orecchiabili ed affascinanti richiede un difficile lavoro compositivo. " Secretly " è uno slow-rock ben cantato da Bob Azzam in Inglese mentre " Surimpression " è un bel tema sinfonico.

The second soundtrack of the Armenian origin's composer wherein you may easily listen to some sound passages which anticipate music that soon will make him universally known. Also thanks to his wonderful collaboration with another musician and singer of Armenian origin : Charles Aznavour. " Ce N'est Pas Juste Après Tout ", the movie's opening theme features here and there music passages which remind the very famous " Retiens La Nuit " sung by Johnny Hallyday in the movie " Les Parisiennes " on 1962.  Besides you may fell with the use of good heed other sound fragments which fully will grow up for the score of " Douce Violence " still on 1962.  " Paris en Liberté " has already many features which will form the opening theme of the very nice film " Chercez L'Idole ".   Sounds and melodies that can be defined only negligently or even worse classified as " easy listening ". In fact, the complete drafting of these catchy and fascinating tunes requires a complex compositive work.  " Secretly " is a slow-rock well sung by Bob Azzam in English whereas " Surimpression " is a beautiful symphonic theme. 

Una buona commedia in un film di Henri Verneuil coprodotto da Francia ed Italia. Con Jean-Claude Brialy, Claudia Cardinale, Danielle Darrieux, Michèle Morgan e Lino Ventura.
