Condizioni : la copertina presenta un moderato foro nei pressi dell'angolo superiore destro mentre nella corrispondente parte del retro questo è stato nascosto da un piccolo adesivo bianco, osservate per cortesia, la scansione n° 2. Inoltre sono presenti alcune grinze in particolare sugli angoli e un pò d'usura e logoramento lungo i bordi; bello stato, EX / il vinile è stato suonato diverse volte con la conseguenza di avere alcuni segni. Questi in pratica non condizionano l'ascolto del primo lato salvo forse pochi minimi clicchettii mentre nel secondo le tracce 4 e soprattutto 5 hanno un certo numero di clicchettii da moderati a leggeri; bello stato, comunque EX

Condition : the cover has a moderate punch hole near the upper right corner while in the corresponding part of the back it has been hidden by a small white sticker, please look at the scan No. 2. There are also some creases especially on the corners and a kinda wear and tear along the edges, EX / the vinyl has been played several times with the consequence of having some signs. Practically these ones do not affect the listening on the first side except possibly a few minimal clicks whilst in the second the fourth and especially the fifth track have a certain number of moderate or light clicks, EX

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : la sola presenza di Christiane Legrand, sorella del compositore Michel, rende superba questa eccellente colonna sonora. I suoi scat nei due brani ricchi di jazz "Opening (Générique)" (a1) e "Finale" (b6) impreziosisce l'album al di là della foto in copertina della stupenda Jayne Mansfield, che detto per inciso, non recita affatto male nel film. I vocalizzi jazz dell'artista Francese sono di una bellezza impressionante. Peccato per la loro breve durata. Poi gli altri brani che sono senza ombra di dubbio piacevoli. "Flight to Rome" (a2) ha buona dinamicità ed alcuni spunti jazzistici. "Mediterrenean Samba" (a6) è caratterizzata dal vivace ritmo Brasiliano con percussioni e basso in risalto e cori in sottofondo. "Panic Button" (b3) è uno speciale twist condotto ottimamente dagli strumenti a fiato con un bel sax solista e le percussioni efficacissime del bongo. Infine "Venezia (Nite Club)" (b4), un brano dal sapore jazzistico romantico, adatto per ballare guancia a guancia, condotto dal pianoforte, il sassofono, la chitarra su un andamento quasi lento.

I titoli dei tredici brani con la loro durata possono esser letti guardando il retrocopertina raffigurato nella scansione n° 2.

Notes : indeed the presence of Christiane Legrand, sister of the composer Michel, crowns this excellent film score. Her scatting in the two tracks full of jazz "Opening (Générique)" (a1) and "Final" (b6) makes precious the album above and beyond the nice picture sleeve depicting the gorgeous Jayne Mansfield, who, incidentally, does not recite badly at all in the film. The jazz vocalizations by the French singer have an awesome beauty. What a pity for their short duration. Then the other tracks which are undoubtedly pleasant. "Flight to Rome" (a2) has a good dynamism and some jazzy hints. "Mediterranean Samba" (a6) is characterized by the lively Brazilian rhythm with percussion and bass in prominence and chorus in the background. "Panic Button" (b3) is a really a special twist conducted excellently by wind instruments with a beautiful soloist sax and very effective percussion by bongo drum. Finally "Venice (Nite Club)" (b4), a flavorful jazzy romantic piece suitable for dancing cheek to cheek, led by the piano, sax, guitar on an almost slow development.

Simpatico film commedia girato in Italia ma di produzione Americana. Per la versione Italiana il regista è Giuliano Carnimeo mentre per quella USA il regista è George Sherman. Molti gli attori presenti: Jayne Mansfield, Robert Chevalier, Eleanor Parker, Akim Tamiroff, Michael Connors, Carlo Croccolo, Leopoldo Trieste e Margaret Rose Keil.
