What a terrific and varied recording career Georgia Tom Dorsey had. Starting with Ma Rainey, then through many years as Tampa Red's partner and pianist where they defined bawdy and Hokum music. He spent some time doing solo work and then became the father of American Gospel music. Here he works with Leroy Carr's longtime guitarist, Scrapper Blackwell on a 1930 recording from the Gennett studios in Richmond.
Record has some light pressure marks on the outer inch of the "A" side. This causes no audible problems. Both sides have very few light surface marks. "A" side looks V+, "B" side looks E-, Both sides play E- or better. A really nice record!
