Hello! Please note, that I will be doing TWO sets of auctions this week! This auction will end on late Wednesday 11th July UK time. Of course, I usually end my auctions on Sundays. However, as I have a large amount of AWESOME extra LPs, I will be doing 2 AMAZING sets of listings this week on both Wednesday 11th and Sunday 15th!!!! RARITY:- The Rarity of this LP acetate is beyond question! It is clearly UNIQUE and the only one ever issued! It also has Georgie Fames MOST SOUGHT AFTER TRACK EVER 'Somebody Stole My Thunder' on 1 side! However, I do not recognise any other tracks - though they are clearly from the 1960s. There are 5 tracks on either side of this LP acetate. And clearly it must date from 1967/68/69 - as Georgie Fame was signed to CBS in that period. I am guessing 1968 as the 'Somebody Stole My Thunder' was released in 1969 and this LP acetate must have been made before then.

RECORD GRADING:- 100% GENIUNE Acetates from this period NEVER look Mint unless they are a fake. Even if unplayed they age in some way. This one is definitely better than most, with only a few VERY light hairlines, and the usual 'dusty' look acetates have from this period. There are also a couple of 'dinks / bangs / chips' to the edges - though these DO NOT affect the playing surface. The acetate plays WELL with only a few clicks/pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and only some low level background crackle in places. Though definitely NOT the loud crackle most acetates from this period have! Most would grade higher - but I'll grade Good to be on the safe side.
