I'm pleased to offer here a tremendous copy of the absolute best soul track ever made in this country (in my opinion), that is getting harder and harder to find as an original uk pressing, and near impossible in this sort of condition!
By the time this single came out in 1970, Georgie Fame's mid sixties sales peak was well and truly over, so only the diehard Fame fans bothered to go and buy this single.......shame really, 'cos it's totally amazing- fuzz guitar totally in the right channel, driven along by a massive drum track with sharp horn stabs...it's impossible to stand still!
Like I said, this copy is in top condition, it retains full surface shine, has few spindle marks, and sounds clear and undistorted, as a new single should, I hate to say it, but the audio, like the visual, is STUNNING! ; ) Perhaps there is the lightest vinyl noise in the run in groove, but barely anything that wasn't there when it was first pressed- it's probably been played less than ten times, in my opinion, though you can never be sure. Even the quiet section where it breaks down and gets very quiet is clear and silent. There are one or two VERY light marks that have no impact on the sound, and are only visible in bright light, at an angle. This copy grades an easy EX+/NM, a perfect keepers copy! The labels grade EX+, with a couple of light marks, but no writing and a good, clean overall appearance.
This is a great single in top condition, so if you have been after a decent copy, this is hard to beat...Don't Miss out!
