Decca stereo LP Headline 6--Roberto Gerhard’s The Plague---Performed by the National Symphony Orchestra and Chorus of Washington , D.C., Antal Dorati conductor. Alex McCowen is the narrator. UK pressing.
Includes a six page full-size leaflet which has photos of Gerhard and Dorati, program notes by Gerhard and Dorati, and a translation of Camus’ words.
This is a very hard-to-find LP that has been a long-time resident on The Absolute Sounds’ recommended Super Discs list. In fact, it was named one of the top 12 “Best of the Bunch” LPs on that list.
The LP is in Near Mint condition. Visual grading. Nice shiny vinyl.
The cover has a couple of light creases and a small piece of tape on the back, but otherwise it has very light wear and is in excellent condition. The original Decca sleeve will be included.
The pictures show the front of the album cover, the front of the leaflet, and the record label.
The LP will be carefully packed for shipping.
