Artist: Paul O'Montis with the Odeon Tanz Orchester / Dajos Bela Tanz Orchester
Tracks: Die Susie Bläst der Saxophon / Es Spracht der Weise Marabu

Terrific German dance band performing "Susie" with an uncredited Paul O'Montis (1894-1940 - openly homosexual and persecuted by the Nazis) on lead vocal. Dajos Bela side is more of a tango typical of his style, but still nice. Interestingly, Columbia issued some imported German Odeon masters around this time (1928).


Condition: "Susie": E- with light marks and scuffs, but 1" lam that ticks a bit; "Weise Marabu": E--, light scuffs and marks, beginnings of EC that is not near grooves (but caused the LAM on flip)
