33SX 1546, original UK first issue blue / black Columbia record labels.

A UK first issue album in original condition, featuring:

1. a printing error on the track, ‘Heres Hoping’, as the writers credit is printed as, ‘Stephens Reid’ on the rear of the sleeve but on side one of the record label this track reads as, ‘Stephens Reed’,

2. the record features the original first UK issue matrix of, 1N and 1N,

3. the record features earliest ‘mothers’, of 1/1,

4. the mother / stampers, unusually are the same on each side of the record, being: ‘1 AA’ and ‘1 AA’,

5. the letters ‘MTK’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two,

6. original UK first issue blue / black Columbia record labels, with the text, ‘recorded first published 1963’,

7. comes with its original, ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition. The front of the sleeve is laminated, this laminate has retained an excellent clean glossy finish. The spine is in excellent++ condition and has remained clean white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve. There is some slight creasing to the front top, right corner.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original period ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve. There is split to each of the two side edges.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in near MINT condition, when viewed under normal daylight conditions. The record is made from the original 1960s, quality thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy and looks as if it has only been played a few times.

The records matrix are: XAX 2537 1N and XAX 2538 1N,

The mother / stampers are: ‘1 AA’, and ‘1 AA’,

THE AUDIO: each side plays excellent++, with a near perfect audio. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full, loud powerful period mono sound.

THE LABELS: side one is in near MINT condition, side two is in excellent++ condition. The letters ’MTK’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. Each record label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
