PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!!!
I have for auction the UK 1st issue of GERRY LOCKRAN LP "HOLD ON - I'M COMING!" Issued in 1967 on the collectable Planet label. Cat No PLL1002.
The condition of this record is such that it is only any use if you are happy with a temporary copy until a decent copy turns up. The sleeve is reasonable - some creasing in laminate to front as seen in photo. And the rear unlaminated sleeve has a bit of grubbiness. The sleeve is NOT torn or split though so that's to its credit. The vinyl is VERY MARKED and plays with a lot of background hiss and crackle. The worst fault in terms of playback are 4 jumps and 1 "stick" on Track 1 Side 2. Otherwise it all played through on my stereo - if rather crackly! The music is prominent though so it is still listenable if not pleasing to fastidious collectors! So, a rare record and a rough copy. Musically it sits in that Folk-Blues British crossover alongside Alexis Korner, Duffy Power, Pentangle.
