Description
This is a rare original MONO pressing of the excellent GERRY MULLIGAN MEETS BEN WEBSTER LP by GERRY MULLIGAN and BEN WEBSTER on Verve Records (BMG V-8343) from 1959. A fantastic jazz record from these two legendary artists. The vinyl is in VG- condition with lots of light marks and wear and some audible surface noise (light crackle); not for the most demanding audiophiles, but a perfectly enjoyable copy without skips or other anomalies that sounds better than it looks thanks to a quality 1950's pressing. The sturdy cardboard cover is in VG- condition with a few minor scuffs, dings, and partial seam splits on the top and bottom edges repaired with clear packing tape by the previous owner, as pictured. Don't pass up a rare gem like this!
