This is a joint album that Fantasy originally released in 1956, both sessions came from earlier Fantasy 10" LPs. Side One features 8 tracks from the Gerry Mulligan Quartet. Side 2 Features 9 tracks by the Paul Desmond Quintet (actually a Sextet) and 4 of those tracks feature vocal backgrounds by The Bill Bates Singers. The front cover features the Mulligan release, while the back features the Desmond liner notes.

Also comes with a poly-vinyl dust cover.
