GERSHWIN Concerto In F, Cuban Overture, "I Got Rhythm" Variations
Arthur Fiedler Conducts The Boston Pops
Earl Wild, Piano
New & Sealed One Sided, 4 Disc Audiophile Pressing - 45 RPM Series
Record Label: Classic Records/RCA LSC 2586
Highly collectable release from audiophile label, Classic Records. This title was mastered at Half Speed from the original source master tapes. An all-analog, tube amplification process was used at every step, then pressed on high quality virgin vinyl, one sided at 45 RPM, for the highest possible audio quality.
Classic Records used a proprietary vinyl that guaranteed virtually no surface noise and sonically superior dynamics.
In short, this is as good as this album is ever going to sound on vinyl. Don't wait... this four record set is long out of print and growing harder to find - especially in this brand new, still sealed condition.
The records are new and still sealed in their original tight shrink wrap. Corners are sharp, colors vibrant and spines are straight. There are no flaws or blemishes. 100% mint.
Review: His rarely heard, brilliantly colored "I Got Rhythm" variations for piano and orchestra. A spine-tingling excursion into his 'Cuban Overture.' And of course, that great Gershwin monument, his enduring 'Concerto In F' played by Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops with Earl Wild, today's leading Gerswhin interpretor, at the piano.
