GERSHWIN PLAYS RHAPSODY IN BLUE  GEORGE GERSHWIN- Piano dbx-LP KLAVIER RECORDS KS-124
Maybe you already know something about this LP?  The music on this LP was recorded from Piano rolls.  I believe originally Rhapsody In Blue was thought to have been a simple two-hand performance.  But now it is believed a trick to "record" four-hands on one paper roll, Gershwin times two.        The LP is dbx encoded.  You must have a dbx Noise Reduction box to listen to this LP.  I have a type-II box, and the LP sounds great!  If you don't have a dbx decoder this LP will sound like Treble-crap.  I think I heard a pop at the beginning of side one lead-in grooves before the music starts.  The inner sleeve is likely the original Klavier paper sleeve.  It's a little worn and a bunch yellowed.  The outer sleeve is good.
