Description

'Get Ready Rock Steady' - a classic Rock Steady compilation on the Coxsone label (CSL 8007, 1967), recorded in Jamaica, manufactured by Coxsone Records in London NW10. Features tracks by the Soul Vendors, Alton Ellis, Ken & Delroy, etc.

In very good condition for a 47-year-old LP, some fine surface marks and light scuffs and scratches, plays right through without any jumps or skips, just the odd bit of surface noise. There are some clicks towards the end of track 6 side 2. The cover has some creases, spine wear and shelf wear.

 THE AUCTION WILL RUN TO THE END  – NO BUY-IT-NOW (Sorry, but I don’t reply to emails asking for Buy-it-Now, etc.)

I’m not a dealer - I’ve collected Jamaican records since the 1960s and I’m now selling all my Ska/Rock Steady/Reggae/Dub vinyl, including some real rarities…watch this space!

Testing: all my records have been played (and some of the rarest converted to digital) on an ION USB turntable. This is the only turntable I have and therefore my only way of testing vinyl. Any that stick or jump will not be sold on eBay. 

Grading: I’m not familiar with the dealers’ vinyl grading system, but I will do my best to give an honest description of the condition, appearance and sound quality of my vinyl.

Any problems at all will be sorted out – I have 100% positive feedback and always do my best to keep the customer satisfied.
