Description
Up for auction is a hand-signed MISSION STATEMENT from the King of Scum Punk GG ALLIN. Printed in black on a piece of white paper, A4 in size. GG has signed it in blue ink at the lower right-hand corner. I had GG sign it during the recording session of his classic country album Carnival of Excess in Florida in 1991. GG composed 'The GG Allin Mission'- his declaration of war against the corporate rock'n'roll industry - during his 1989-1991 prison sentence.
Immediately following his release in early 1991, GG headed directly to Tampa, FL, to record the Carnival of Excess album. He had a few Mission Statements made up at the time - this is one of them. An extremely scarce item & an amazing piece of rock'n'roll history.
Item is in very good shape. Very slight creasing from careful handling over the years. Back of Mission Statement is plain white. VERY tough to find signed material by GG these days since his popularity has skyrocketed and every douchebag on the internet has heard of him, even though all they are interested in is a freakshow. R.I.P.
