GG Allin was born on August 29th, 1956, in Lancaster, New Hampshire. GG was a hardcore punk singer and bandleader who performed and recorded with many groups during his dramatic career. He is best remembered for his notorious live performances that typically featured wildly transgressive acts such as Allin defecating onstage, committing self harm, and a variety of violent actions towards the audience. Although more notorious for his stage antics than for his wide body of music, he recorded prolifically, not only in the punk rock genre, but also in spoken word, country and western and Rolling Stones-influenced rock. GG had always stated he would one day kill himself on stage but before he ever got the chance to follow through with this threat he died of a heroin overdose in New York on June 28th, 1993.

"Um... Here's my GG Allin story. He was playing at the Khyber Pass in Philly (8/21/91), but a bunch of us drove up to Maxwell's in Hoboken to see Helmet the same night. We came back early, and drove by the Khyber Pass just as a naked GG Allin barged out of the stage door! We stopped our car from hitting him, as he stumbled onto Second Street covered in blood and poop, and laid on our car hood bleeding... That's my GG Allin story."

Welcome to the Skeleton Closet!
I was a rabid music collector for 30+ years - Punk and Hardcore in the early-Eighties, Death Metal and Grunge in the late-Eighties, Industrial and Experimental in the early-Nineties, and Goa Trance and Psytrance in the late-Nineties and early-2000s…
I also worked at a record company for 13 years, toured North America with numerous international acts, DJed internationally, produced parties, and had a clothing importing company. So in this time, I’ve accumulated a lot of interesting and limited items...
Family life and other life changes have made me decide to unload my collection. For the majority of the items, I have been the original owner of the item. I try to be accurate on my description and condition of the items. I have a lot to sell, so check back often -- I’ll try to keep the new listings coming weekly...
