About This Record.  Here's another sacrifice to the ebay Record Gods from my collection by Aguaturbia, their first LP from Chile from 1970 on Arena Records LPD-075-xx.  Legendary six (6) stars from Hans Pokora . . . Banned by the catholic church and revered by record collectors not only for the music, but also the cover (only reissue of front cover included, but NICE original back slick).  Speaking of which, this LP came out with front and back cover slicks that were not attached to the generic inner cardboard piece.  This does NOT have the front necessary cover slick with the naked band hanging out naked in a smoke filled room (why would the Catholic Church ban this?), BUT it has only the back cover slick (and a NICE one!) and a reissue copy of the front cover slick with the naked people sitting around.  I bought this vinyl for $270 on ebay in 2006 but with a different cover that had the front slick, and a worse copy of the back slick.  Awesome Grace Slick Somebody to Love version and lots of other crazed stuff.  PLEASE see all my additional photos and details regarding condition of the cover and vinyl below.  The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels. See my other RARE Rockabilly for sale (and maybe some cool 1960s psych etc. LPs I am selling with NO Reserve!).

Cover Condition: This was released with front and cover slick that were not attached to the cover.  The IMPORTANT front cover slick is missing, but there is a reissue high resolution photograph of most of the cover.  The back original cover slick is NICE VG+ close to EX with one crease, and only one chip with missing part, and some cracking on the edge.   But there is a small writing on the back cover with initials that are circled.  See Photos

Vinyl Condition:  Good/better!  The vinyl plays with no skips or sticks or jumps, but has noticeable background noise through about 75% of the tracks; still not a bad listen, and the real deal.

Inserts: .  Comes cleaned on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine and in a new innersleeve (so the old dust does not reattach!  OH my gosh!!.

Labels: VG- (names on each side of label, but not so bad) (see photos of all labels)

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and “Fragile” to help facilitate a safe passage.

About Me.  I have been a Record Collector for Decades.  I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept it well-preserved in plastic sleeves and vinyl separated outside the cover.
