Ghulam Ali – Live In India (2x LPs) Urdu GhazalsUstad Ghulam Ali (born 5 December 1940) is a Pakistani ghazal singer of the Patiala Gharana. He was also a prominent playback singer. He was a disciple of Bade Ghulam Ali Khan (elder Ghulam Ali Khan). He was also trained by Bade Ghulam Ali's younger brothers – Barkat Ali Khan and Mubarak Ali Khan. Ghulam Ali is considered to be one of the best ghazal singers of his era. His style and variations in singing Ghazals has been noted as unique, as he blends Hindustani classical music with ghazals, unlike any other ghazal singer.
Side One: Jaan Mein Meri Jaan Ayee Hai; Bichhad Ke Bhi Mujhe Tujhse Yeh Badgumani Hai.
Side Two: Para Para Hua Pairahan-E- Jaan; Aye Husne Beparwah Tujhe Shabnam Kahoon, Shola Kahoon; Chupke Chupke Raat Din Aansoo Bahana Yaad Hai.
Side Three: Yeh Dil Yeh Paagal Dil Mera Kyon Bujh Gaya, Aawargi; Apni Dhun Mein Rahta Hoon.
Side Four: Kal Chaudhvin Ki Raat Thi; Hangama Hai Kyon Barpa Thodi Si Jo Peeli Hai.
The album is on Polydor Records, 2675 203. Matrix side one: 2392 513 A 1 470 (stamped). Matrix side two: 2392 513 B 1 470 (stamped). Matrix side three: 2392 514 A 1 470 (stamped). Matrix side four: 2392 514 B 1 470 (stamped).
Released in 1980. Indian pressing. Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 3: vexcellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 4: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (glossy, embossed, gatefold): fair (I have only graded this cover “fair” as the plastic protective sleeve has become stuck to the outer sleeve so you can’t open the gatefold!).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
