GIACINTO SCELSI Paralipomena I F.M Uitti Cello solo
Rare Italian LP on Fore Label, reference Fore 80 SIX, released 1982. This LP contains works for cello solo by Giacinto Scelsi,
played by Frances-Marie Uitti. The music of Scelsi has been unknown for a very long time although the composer, who was born in 1905, produced a lot of compositions.
The works performed here are: Trilogia in three movements (1957-61), Ko-Tha (version for cello with six strings, 1978) and A Dance of Shiva, (1967). Uitti has worked very intensively with the composer who used to live as a hermit in Italy.
Vinyl near MINT. Looks barely played.
Jacket with orignal innersleeve still strong and sturdy but rated EX+ due to a few mild brownish spots
