 •Other Info: Marketing has always been important for promoting the sales of pop records, and the albums that came out during the Moog record craze of the late 1960s and early 1970s were no exception.  The album title implies that Richard Hayman, who himself had released the fantastic Genuine Electric Latin Love Machine in 1969, had a hand in this album.  But a close look at the credits reveal that all tracks were written by Giampiero Boneschi and Mitridate (aka Boneschi), so what we have here is clever packaging of a cool, swinging organ/synth album by this great Italian electronic musician.  It was probably decided that using Richard Hayman’s name, who at the time was much more widely known to U.S. music lovers, would attract more sales.  Why the execs went with a cover that looks like it might be for a stereo test record is still a mystery, however.  For more albums by Boneschi, see my other listings.
