GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : musiche composte dai fratelli Reverberi, esecuzione orchestrale curata da Gian Piero Reverberi. Due canzoni in Inglese interpretate da Raoul. L’artista di Roma, vero nome Ettore Lovecchio, detiene il record per il maggior numero di canzoni da film western all'italiana cantate nel corso degli anni sessanta, tra questi " Arizona Colt ", " Da Uomo a Uomo ", " Vado l’Ammazzo e Torno ". Dovrebbero essere 18. Qui, in veste anche di attore del film, canta il tema d’apertura " Be It As It May " con la consueta tonalità calda ed elegante. L’andamento ritmico è generalmente moderato ma con alcuni passaggi più sostenuti. Orchestrazione con buone soluzioni armoniche. Nella seconda facciata il ritmo aumenta notevolmente ed il cantante è ben supportato dal basso insistente e dalla vivacità della batteria mentre una buona chitarra elettrica dal suono sporco entra, scompare, rientra nel corso della canzone.

Notes : music composed by Reverberi brothers, orchestra conducted by Gian Piero Reverberi. Two songs in English sung by Raoul. The Roman artist, whose real name  is Ettore Lovecchio, holds the record for the large number of songs from spaghetti western movies performed during the sixties such as " Arizona Colt ", " Da Uomo a Uomo ", " Vado l’Ammazzo e Torno ". They should be 18.  Here, as well as an actor in the film, sings the opening theme "Be It As It May Be ", with the usual warm and elegant tone. The sound development is generally moderate but with some rhythmically sustained passages. Orchestration with good harmonic solutions. In the second side the rhythm greatly increases and the singer is well supported by an insistent bass and a considerable drumming while a good electric guitar from the dirty sound comes in, disappears, goes back throughout the song.
