Time/Life "GIANTS OF JAZZ" Complete Set of 28 x 3-LP Box Sets This amazing jazz record collection is part of my uncle's estate. The complete series - all twenty-eight boxed sets from the much sought after "Time-Life: Giants of Jazz". This landmark jazz set was published by Time Life in 1982 and quality pressed by Columbia. Each LP is protected in an inner sleeve. Each box-set contains three (3) LPs and a 48-page booklet containing detailed information and photos about each box's artist (some of the photos have been cut out of the books by my uncle and made into a collage, which is not included). The cover of each box contains a 6" x 6" litho print of the artist. My uncle was a jazz aficionado and took excellent care of his music record collection. The records have no scratches and are in like-new condition. The artists are as follows: 1. Henry "Red" Allen 2. Louis Armstrong 3. Count Basie 4. Sidney Bechet 5. Bik Beiderbeck 6. Bunny Berigan 7. Lester Young The 28-record set weighs approximately 70 lbs and will be shipped in one box, so the shipping is costly. Even though it's heavy, shipping the collection in one box instead of two boxes will save about $20 in shipping costs and also save on insurance.
