Description
"Paul's Not Home" limited edition, unplayed FLEX RAY 45, pressed on real surplus russian X-Ray. (A nod to Gib's band the Butthole Surfers, I'm assuming.) Very limited edition FLEX RAY (Flexi Disc) 45 featuring Gibby and Jack White. It is part of the Blue Series released by Third Man Records. Limited to 100 pressed and sold only from the Third Man Records Rolling Record Store at SXSW in Austin, 2013.
As is the case with any Third Man limited press, these sold out in minutes. This is the actual Flex Ray edition, NOT the black standard vinyl press, which can still be purchased new. Again, this copy is unplayed. Comes in cardstock sleeve wrapped in poly sleeve, as well as the yellow Third Man bag. Featured are a cover of the AOD Classic "PAULS NOT HOME", and two Gibby Originals, "You don't Have to be Smart" (which I think is the finest cut here), and a slow, kind of pointless thing called "A Horse Named George."
