Description

One Melbourne 1956 Olympic Games "Olympic Melodies" souvenir EP by Century recordings. 45 rpm, 7'' .

This is a one of a kind vinyl that would make a truly beautiful addition to any collector's assortment. As the listing implies, this was sold as a souvenir during the Melbourne 1956 Olympic games. The Vinyl is in beautiful condition for being 56 years old, barely any scratches are audible after the first few seconds of play.

The Disc is contained within a thin paper inner sleeve with a fold-over lid within the cardboard cover. All paper components have yellowed with age and some spots on the back and the inner sleeve are moldier than others, but that just adds to the charm. One notable imperfection is tiny handwriting on the upper left corner of the back, which reads "16/-" in pencil and "K.F.T" in what looks like pen. (Don't you hate it when people do that? Idiots!) I'll leave it up to the winner to rectify at at their own professionalism.
