Thomas de Hartmann, Piano -- The Music of Gurdjieff / de Hartmann 4xLP
Original 1985 US release on Triange Records (New York NY) (catalog # T 1001 / 1002 / 1003 / 1004 , made in West Germany, manufactured by ECM Records GmbH), with four LP's and booklet inside box-set.Of the music he notated and harmonized under George Ivanovich (G.I.) Gurdjieff’s direction between June of 1925 and May of 1927, the only recordings issued by de Hartmann before he died in 1956 were a set of six 12-inch 78 rpm phonograph records, containing twenty different pieces, all recorded at Bartok Studio in New York City between 1951 and 1953.
In 1985, more extended selections of de Hartmann’s recordings were issued to the general public in this out-of-print boxed set of four long-playing records.
CONDITION: Cover NM / Vinyl NM very close to new, box is crisp and completely intact, just has a faint tan-line at extreme top; vinyl is near pristine, appears unplayed, no spindle marks on any of the records, across all 8 sides I counted only 2 visible sleeve scuffs. Graded conservatively using Goldmine standards [G / G+ / VG / VG+ / NM / ]grade only used if record is brand new.

Priority Mail is a highly recommended option for all vinyl, it's a lot faster and much more secure -- I double-box (and sometimes triple-box) all LP's shipped via Priority Mail.
